- Weapon Safety standards are to be written by the GMoR, and approved & enforced by the Champion.
If the Champion disapproves of any standard(s), he may then ask the Monarch to make the neccessary change(s).
Weapon Safety Standards are no longer to be vague, (i.e. "Larger than an eye socket") but are now to have actual measurements. (i.e. "Minimum of 2.5 inches").
Weapon Safety Standards (once approved) are to be published (i.e. Written on paper and handed out to the populous) once every six months.
Weapon Safety Standards need to cover the following topics of many discussions:
Legal striking surfaces (length and diameter) for each weapon type (i.e. Short Sword, Long Sword, Spear, Polearm, Javelin, Staff, Madu and the ever-controversal Zulu Spear)
Sword handel lengths (maximums for: Short, Long, and Great)
Pommels
Curteousy-padding on polearms
Thrusting Tips (both swords and polearms)
Hinged weapon heads (length, diameter, hardness, and weight)
Defining what is meant by "cloth" covered
Throwing weapons (core or no-core, and do they need cloth covers?)
Bows and Arrows
Plus, answer questions like:
If a flail's shaft meets the Standards for a legal striking surface, then can it also count as a legal hit when an opponent is struck by the shaft? (i.e. "Club")
If a Red Weapon (Great Sword or Polearm) is used one handed does it still cause Red Damage?
If a weapon is deemed legal, but it still hurts, can it be romoved from the field?

7.2.4.3 Each knight's votes shall be made available to all members of the Circle of Knights by the Guildmaster of Knights when voting is complete. This information is strictly confidential and may never be disclosed to anyone who is not a member of the Circle of Knights by any means.
